FUNDY FISHERIES: Herring shut-off fishery has successful week at West Isles.
The following photo shows the herring carrier Strathlorne pumping herring from a shutoff in Lorneville Harbour on Deer Island, NB. Successful shutoffs were made at various locations in West Isles from Passamaquoddy Bay to Campobello during the third week of September.
