Whales and others. July 5th

Two finbacks together (reminiscent of the cow/calf pair last year) who spent most of their time in the ecological area past the lighthouse in the mouth of the bay. Another very big finback who looks like the one I called “flat guy” last year- a very big finback who does not get very high out of the water, also in the ecological area.. And another finback of medium size who was in the mouth of the passage and between the lighthouse and White Rock. Also a minke who was in the foraging path around the light and in Head Harbour inlet.
Also gannets diving out beyond the light in the bay, and groups of gannets near Casco Bay island.
Also a tuna jumped once in the Passage.  A busy four hours.
