St. Andrews.

Today, I brought my binoculars to work as large flocks of Eider had been feeding in the Brandy Cove. In amongst the closest flock was a male KING EIDER.

Yesterday a beautiful adult RED-TAILED HAWK was circling around getting in trouble with the crows and gulls.

Comment. Will have to check out the King Eider. Saw a Red-tailed Hawk earlier this week crossing Hwy 127 going into St. Andrews near the entrance to Bantry Bay Farm. Probably the same one. Art

The KING EIDER is still present at St. Andrews chatting up the female
    Common Eiders.
