Fairy Tale Cottage

This cottage was built at Huntington’s Point, Nova Scotia by Charles Macdonald, sometime between 1934-38. He and his wife built 5 of these fairy tale dwellings out of concrete, reinforced with iron and driftwood.More info on Charles Macdonald and his concrete creations can be found here:http://www.concretehouse.ca/uncommon/concreteman.html

We took a drive out here today on this rather damp and overcast day and this cottage brightened up the landscape on the shore of the Bay of Fundy.
